Musculoskeletal Rehabilitation

Do you have an injury? Are you experiencing reoccurring episodes of pain or have a musculoskeletal complaint that you would like to receive specific exercise advice on?

Whether you’re experiencing persisting neck tension following long bouts at the computer, reoccurring episodes of lower back pain/sciatica, pelvic dysfunction following pregnancy, ongoing neck pain/headaches following whiplash injury, persisting shoulder weakness post-surgery or want to commence an exercise program but do not know what is appropriate for your injury………we would like to work with you.

We provide exercise advice specific to musculoskeletal conditions and injuries including rehabilitation post-surgery. Our exercise programs aim to address the mechanical component of injury, retrain functional movement and posture and assist you with returning to activities that are meaningful to you (whether it be activities of daily living, work, sport or play!). We aim to equip our clients with the knowledge and tools required to self-manage their injuries long-term.

Home or gym based programs available with consultations are available for private (health fund refunds may apply), corporate and Medicare clients.

Mega Therapy

Our programs aim to integrate the latest evidence into practice specific to the management of persistent or chronic pain. We focus on educating our clients about the physiology of pain and provide practical tools and strategies on how to work with and approach pain providing a plan of reintroduction to meaningful activities. Education is coupled with graded exercise therapy which is a structured plan of exercise and activity getting our clients moving at a comfortable level and gradually increasing activity overtime working towards achieving return to meaningful activities (including ADL’s, social, leisure, housework, work etc).

Our clients take an active role in their recovery; we aim to improve our clients self-management of pain, movement confidence, activity tolerance and capacity to engage in meaningful activities.

Programs are suitable for individuals with chronic lower back, neck, upper limb, trunk, lower limb or widespread pain including complex regional pain syndrome.
